People will see a psychiatrist for a variety of reasons. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who have training and expertise in a range of common and complex psychiatric disorders and are able to diagnose, formulate and assess the difficulties that a child, young person or family are experiencing. Psychiatrists understand how the brain works, our emotions, feelings and thoughts.

Our psychiatrists can treat mental health challenges and disorders. We consider the relationship between the mind and body, working with other members of our team to help optimise the assessments, management and recommendations.
