EXPERTISE
I am proud to have been a doctor in the NHS for 15 years working in both community and in-patient mental health settings. I have extensive experience working with young people and families with a range of common and complex mental health difficulties, as well as those with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Condition and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

I graduated with an MBBS from Imperial College Medical School, London and a BSc in Medical Sciences. I completed training with the Great Ormond Street and Royal London Hospital training scheme. I have skills in using a range of therapeutic modalities including Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural and Dialectical Behavioural approaches, as well as Mindfulness and Mentalisation.

I am passionate about providing high quality evidence based care to young people and families and am a firm believer in co-production – supporting young people and families to feel empowered to take a lead in their mental health. I am the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Quality Improvement Lead for East London NHS Trust and have worked closely with young people and families when designing and developing health services.

Mental wellbeing, I believe is best supported using a holistic and strengths based approach. Taking the time to understand a young person and family is imperative to developing successful treatment plans. In my work I aim to support young people and families on their journey towards achieving their goals.

In my spare time I enjoy yoga and keeping fit, have a passion for music and dance, and love playing my guitar.
